Woodrow McCammon is a US Senator from New Orleans. His daughter Shelby is found dead, her brother Beau arrives from Chicago for the funeral. Beau learns from FBI agents that Shelby was murdered, although local police believe it was suicide.
Beau investigates, his girlfriend Brittany - who is also his cousin - helps him. Brittany and Beau learn that the murdered woman owned a large fortune. It was willed for charity, but Woodrow forged the will.
Woodrow tries to kill Brittany and Beau too.

"Apollo Guide" - "Cypress Edge" shows exactly the opposite of the effective narration, camera work and editing. Christley wondered how this film could be produced at all and assumed that directing instructions would be given over the phone and in encrypted form. "Cypress Edge" is a bad, painfully boring film.
