The low peak is 1,060 m high mountain at the Shackleton Coast of the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises 5 km southwest of Mount Kolp at the northwest end of the Nash Range .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2003 after Peter Allan Lowe, who worked as a technician for geomagnetic studies in the winter of 1961 at Hallett Station .
