Luc-Arsène Diamesso (born December 27, 1974 ) is a Congolese former football player and current coach.

At the beginning of his career, Diamesso played in Brazzaville, first with the multiple national champions CARA and in 1994 with AS Police for a year. The 1.89 m tall defender then moved to the top African team Asante Kotoko in Ghana .
After he had already played a few appearances in youth national teams in his country, he was signed by BV Cloppenburg in 1996 , who had just been relegated from the Regionalliga Nord . After two seasons in Oberliga Niedersachsen-Bremen , he returned to the third division of German football in 1998 with his club.
In 2003 Diamesso was transferred to SV Wilhelmshaven free of charge , where he was one of the top performers right from the start and already wore the captain's wristbands in his first season .
National team
Between 1996 and 2004, Luc-Arsène Diamesso was called up to the national team of the Republic of the Congo 51 times . One of the highlights of his career was participation in the Africa Cup of 2000 in Nigeria and Ghana, where Diamesso played in all three of his team's group matches (against Morocco , Nigeria and Tunisia ).
Coaching career
In summer 2011 he became Christian Neidhart's assistant trainer at SV Wilhelmshaven and held the position until June 30, 2012. For the 2012/2013 season he took over the vacant assistant coaching position alongside head coach Tanja Schulte at the women's second division club BV Cloppenburg .
At the beginning of 2020, Diamesso became a coach at SV Molbergen.
Private
Because he has been active in Germany since 1996 , he has had German citizenship since 2005.
