Luca Brandolini

Luca Brandolini CM (born December 25, 1933 in Montecompatri , Latium , Italy ) is Bishop Emeritus of Sora-Aquino-Pontecorvo .

Life

Luca Brandolini joined the religious community of the Lazarists , made his profession on October 18, 1955 and was ordained a priest on April 24, 1960 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Urusi and auxiliary bishop in Rome on October 29, 1987 . The episcopal ordination received his Cardinal Vicar Ugo Poletti, Cardinal of the same year on December 7; Co-consecrators were the Roman auxiliary bishops Ennio Appignanesi and Plinio Pascoli .

On September 2, 1993 he was appointed Bishop of Sora-Aquino-Pontecorvo . On June 19, 2009, Pope Benedict XVI. his resignation request submitted for reasons of age.
