Luca Grillo
Luca Grillo (born May 22, 1970 ) is an Italian classical philologist .
Life
He studied at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore ( Laurea 1995), at the University of Minnesota (MA 2003) and at Princeton University (PhD 2008). Since 2018 he has been Professor of Classical Philology at the University of Notre Dame .
His research areas are Latin and Greek language and literature; Historiography and rhetoric; roman history; Augustan poetry and numismatics.
