Lucas Carstensen (born June 16, 1994 in Hamburg ) is a German cyclist .

Athletic career

Lucas Carstensen has been a cyclist since 2008. In 2014 he drove for a few months as a stagiaire for Team Bike Aid . In 2017 he won the points classification and three stages of the Tour du Sénégal , points classification and one stage of the Tour de Tunisie and one stage of the Tour of Xingtai .

The following year, Carstensen received a contract as an elite rider from Bike Aid . He won a stage each of Rás Tailteann , La Tropicale Amissa Bongo and the Tour of Hainan . In spring 2019 he won the Grand Prix Alanya . After numerous street races had been canceled in 2020, the cycling Bundesliga was initially replaced by the virtual GCA league in 2020 . After five competitions, Carstensen won the overall ranking.
