Lucas Sauberschwarz (born October 3, 1980 in Düsseldorf ) is a German entrepreneur and author on the topics of innovation and new work .

Professional career

Sauberschwarz studied business administration with a focus on business informatics at the EBS University of Economics and Law . After his studies he worked in management positions at the French consumer goods group L'Oréal and the food manufacturer Schwartauer Werke . He then built a digital agency with more than 100 employees. In 2011 Sauberschwarz founded the company Venture Idea , which worked as a consultancy for the systematic development of efficient innovations with more than half of the DAX groups. With Venture Idea, he won the Wirtschaftswoche's Best of Consulting Mittelstand Award in the Innovation & Growth category in 2018 .

Sauberschwarz is also director for the Center for Corporate Innovation and Co-Director for the Center for New Work at the Management Institute St. Gallen (SGMI). On September 14, 2018, Sauberschwarz was one of the co-organizers of TEDxKoenigsallee , the first TED event in Düsseldorf.
