Lucie Hammecke (born October 8, 1996 in Magdeburg ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). She has been a member of the Saxon state parliament since 2019 .

Life

Hammecke grew up in Wolmirstedt . In 2016 she began a bachelor's degree in political science in Leipzig , which she completed in 2019. She lives in Leipzig.

After the 2017 federal election , Hammecke joined the Green Youth . She was elected to the Saxon state board of the youth organization in January 2018. In the state elections in Saxony in 2019 , Hammecke moved in as the youngest member of the Saxon state parliament at the age of 22 at ninth place on the state list of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen . There she is the group's spokesperson for gender equality, Europe, the penal system and animal welfare. She is also a member of the Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs, Europe, Democracy and Equality, the Committee on Schools and Education and the Committee on Petitions. She is also increasingly committed to feminism and youth participation.
