Lucie Surovcová (born November 30, 1987 ) is a former Czech grass skier . She was part of the B-squad of the Czech grass ski team and took part in world cup races from 2006 to 2008 .

Career

Lucie Surovcová competed in her first FIS race in June 2006 in Rettenbach , but did not finish in any of the three competitions. She achieved the first countable result on August 12th with ninth place in the Super-G of Branná . On August 19 and 20, she took part in the World Cup races in České Petrovice . While she was disqualified in the giant slalom after a goal mistake in the first round, she finished eighth in the slalom as the penultimate and thus got her first World Cup points. In the 2006 season , these were her only World Cup points, making her penultimate in the overall standings in 15th place.

In August 2007 Surovcová started at the Junior World Championships in Welschnofen and reached fourth place in the giant slalom and fifth in the Super-G. A month later she also took part in the World Championship in Olešnice v Orlických horách , where she was twelfth in the Super-G and in the Super Combined. In the 2007 season she was only able to score once in the 2007 World Cup : In the super combination of Forni di Sopra , she finished fifth and at the same time last place and came in 16th and also in the overall ranking, tied with Iranians Sahar Davari and Parisa Shahmoradpour last place. In the 2008 season , the Czech only came into the points in one World Cup race: on July 5, she was tenth in the giant slalom in Čenkovice . Before that, she finished ninth twice in the FIS races in Traisen . In the overall ranking she was able to improve to twelfth place this year. Her last grass ski race was a Super G of the Czech Cup on July 27, 2008.

Until February 2008, Lucie Surovcová also took part in alpine skiing races. As the best result in FIS races , she reached third place in the giant slalom in Červenohorské sedlo in February 2005 .
