Lucien Pailler

Lucien Pailler (born March 25, 1912 in La Trimouille ; † unknown) was a French racing driver .

Racing career

Lucien Pailler ran a car workshop for the French car brand Panhard in his hometown and was active as a racing driver in the 1950s. In addition to his appearances in national sports car races, he also competed twice in the Le Mans 24-hour race . In both 1954 and 1956 he had to give up prematurely due to accidents. In 1954 he had an accident on a Panhard X88 at an early stage of the race. The mission ended fatally in 1956. After driving five laps, his teammate Louis Héry had a serious accident in the Panhard X86 in Maison Blanche and died of his injuries in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
