Lucky Blue Smith

Lucky Blue Smith (born June 4, 1998 in Spanish Fork , Utah ) is an American model and actor. He was discovered at the age of ten and signed his international modeling contract when he was twelve. He was best known for his platinum blonde hair.

Model career

Lucky is the youngest and only male of his three siblings. His mother, Sheridan, is a former model and his father, Dallon, is a hobby musician who owns a guitar string company. He grew up in the small town of Spanish Fork, Utah. Smith was discovered in Utah with his sisters when he was ten and began his modeling career when he was twelve. After they signed with NEXT MANAGEMENT, he and his entire family, all of whom are Mormons , moved to Los Angeles , where the younger children are being homeschooled. Shortly after arriving, Lucky and his siblings had a shoot with Hedi Slimane for Vogue Homme Japan that quickly garnered attention.

Smith's modeling career took off after he dyed his hair platinum blonde on his agent's advice. In 2015 he graced dozens of magazine covers and campaigned for Phillip Plein and Tom Ford. He and other models appeared in Tom Ford's fashion video for Lady Gaga . Lucky Blue ran for brands like Tom Ford , Versace , Michael Kors , Etro and Bottega Veneta . He has also had campaigns for CK One (shot by Mario Sorrenti), Moncler (shot by Annie Leibovitz), a Gap campaign and a Tommy Hilfiger campaign. Lucky also worked for Levi's and H&M and was on the cover of Harper's Bazaar . He has been the father of a daughter since July 2017.

Music career

In 2009 the Smith siblings formed a surf rock band called "The Atomics". He plays the drums and said that music is his real passion. The band is also under contract with NEXT.

reception

In 2015, Teen Vogue named him "Model of the Moment". As a relatively new model, he was among the Top 50 Male Models 2015 at Models.com and had the second highest number of social media followers. Many designers acknowledge that Lucky's popularity is what makes many customers want him.
