Ludmilla Prochaska

Ludmilla Prochaska , also Ludmilla Prohaska , married Ludmilla Prohaska-Neumann (around 1875 in Pilsen - after 1930) was a Bohemian singer ( soprano ) and singing teacher .

Life

The daughter of a merchant showed a talent for singing as a child, and after receiving training from singing master Johannes Reß in Vienna , she made her first attempt at the German State Theater in Prague . She made her debut there as “Pamina” and “Agathe”, was then engaged at the Breslau Opera and joined the Hofbühne association in Braunschweig in 1900 , where she was highly valued as a young dramatic singer.

Her further life is largely in the dark, but she has obviously married a Mr. Neumann and was the singing teacher of Alfred Piccaver (around 1907) and Hilde Konetzni (around 1930).
