Ludwig Friedrich Karl Berg

Ludwig Friedrich Karl Berg (born December 7, 1874 in Saarbrücken , † January 6, 1939 ) was a German Catholic clergyman.

Life

From 1894 he studied theology in Bonn . After being ordained a priest in 1898, he was chaplain in the dean's office in Eschweiler near Aachen. He became a religion teacher in Aachen in 1902 and a senior teacher in 1904. In 1906 he passed the parish exam. From 1907 to 1927 he was President of the Congregation for Domestic Servants. After receiving his doctorate in 1909 as Dr. theol. In Freiburg im Breisgau he became chaplain in 1914 and chaplain in 1915 at the Grand Headquarters. 1919 entered the school service in Aachen. From 1924 to 1927 he was a Russian émigré chaplain. From 1934 to 1935 he worked on Catholic correspondence. In 1935 he retired. In 1938 he became rector of the chapel of the Maiden's House in Marienheim in Aachen.
