Ludwig Gernhardt

Ludwig Gernhardt (* 1882 ; † November 25, 1937 in Munich ) was a German homeland researcher .

Gernhardt worked in Munich in the first half of the 20th century. His manuscripts as well as those of his colleague Sebastian Hüttl were lost in World War II . Ludwig Gernhardt devoted himself primarily to the history of Bavarian communities. He was buried in Munich's Ostfriedhof . The grave has now been re-assigned.
