Ludwig Husnik
Ludwig Husnik (born August 14, 1892 ; † May 30, 1971 ) was an Austrian actor , singer , director , choreographer and librettist .
Live and act
Ludwig Husnik was active as an actor on several Austrian and German theaters. In the 1920s he was a choreographer and director at the Graz Opera , where he staged the operettas Der süße Kavalier by Leo Fall and The beautiful Helena by Jacques Offenbach . In the 1930s he was a singer and lyricist at the Musiktheater Nürnberg. Around 1940 he was an actor at the Wiener Kammerspiele . After the Second World War he was an actor at the Landestheater Linz and worked with the Linz operetta composer Igo Hofstetter , for whose music he wrote the libretti for two operettas.
Husnik also worked as a radio play speaker for ORF .
