Ludwig Jaud

Ludwig Jaud (born October 21, 1919 in Munich , † April 2, 1998 in Kempten (Allgäu) ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

After he attended elementary school, Jaud began his apprenticeship as a mechanical engineer by attending the vocational school, which he finished with the journeyman's examination. In 1939 he was drafted into the labor service, after which he was active in the military. After the end of the Second World War , he passed several administrative examinations, after which he worked as a manager in the district office of the Kempten district . In 1956 he was elected second and in 1960 first mayor of the municipality of Sankt Mang , which he held until its incorporation into the independent city of Kempten in 1972. From 1966 to 1970 and again from late 1971, as a successor to Rudolf Wolfer , until 1974 belonged he submitted to the Bavarian State Parliament .
