Ludwig Leuschner
Friedrich Ludwig Leuschner (born March 10, 1824 in Graefenhainichen , † December 29, 1889 in Glauchau ) was a manor owner, manufacturer and member of the German Reichstag .
Life
Leuschner visited the Francke Foundations in Halle and moved to Glauchau . In 1862 he acquired the manor in Glauchau-Limbach. In 1868 he became a member of the Chamber of Commerce in Chemnitz and in 1870 city councilor in Glauchau. Between 1873 and 1879 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Saxon State Parliament and later also a commercial judge. Since 1887 he was an honorary citizen of his hometown Graefenhainichen.
From 1881 to 1884 and from 1887 and his death he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency Kingdom of Saxony 17 Glauchau , Meerane , Hohenstein-Ernstthal and the National Liberal Party .
