Annemarie Schuster (born Annemarie Burmester ; born December 14, 1917 in Lübeck ; † May 20, 1996 ) was a German politician ( CDU ). She was a member of the citizenship of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck and a member of the Schleswig-Holstein State Parliament .

Life

After completing secondary school, Annemarie Schuster attended an educational institution for women's professions and became a state-certified housekeeper . In 1957 she joined the CDU. In the election on October 25, 1959, she moved into the Lübeck citizenship via the CDU list. She was re-elected in 1962, 1966 and 1970.

In addition to her citizenship mandate, she was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament from 1962, of which she was a member until 1987. In 1962, 1971 and 1975 it moved in via the CDU state list ; In 1967 she was elected in the Lübeck-Mitte constituency, in 1979 and 1983 she received the direct mandate in the Lübeck-Süd constituency 36. She belonged to a large number of committees, in 1969 she was chairwoman of the committee for expellees and parliamentary state secretary in the Stoltenberg cabinet from 1979 to 1982, in the Barschel cabinet from 1981/1982 and in the following Barschel cabinet until 1987. 1969, 1974 and 1979 she was a member of the Federal Assembly .

Annemarie Schuster was socially engaged in addition to her political offices. She was a member of the German Employees' Union , the Diakonische Werk , the Society for the Promotion of Charitable Activities , the German Housewives Association and the Duchy of Lauenburg Foundation .

Annemarie Schuster was married and had four children.

Party functions

From 1960 Annemarie Schuster was a member of the CDU district executive committee in Lübeck. Other party functions were the state chairmanship of the CDU women's association Schleswig-Holstein from 1968 to 1981; from 1969 she was a member of the state executive committee of the CDU in Schleswig-Holstein and was deputy state chairman of the CDU Schleswig-Holstein from 1971 to 1979. In 1969 she was also elected to the federal executive committee of the CDU women's association.
