Ludwig Moser (physicist)
Ludwig Moser (born August 22, 1805 in Berlin , † February 22, 1880 in Königsberg i. Pr. ) Was a German physicist and university professor .
Life
Moser was an associate professor in the Philosophical Faculty of the Albertus University in Königsberg . In 1839 she appointed him to the chair of physics. Moser dealt with the earth's magnetic field and light . In 1841 he was the first to use the daguerreotype for stereoscopy . He dealt critically with Goethe's theory of colors (Goethe) , of which he was particularly proud.
In 1843 he was accepted as a corresponding member of the Prussian Academy of Sciences . The Moser Glacier in Antarctica is named in his honor.
