Ludwig Obersteiner (painter)
Ludwig Obersteiner (* 1857 in Graz ; † May 8, 1896 in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee ) was an Austrian genre painter .
Ludwig Obersteiner was the son of a photographer. He studied painting since May 27, 1881 at the technical painting class of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Otto Seitz .
After graduating, he worked in Munich. He died at the age of 39 in the state insane asylum in Klagenfurt.
