Ludwig Richard Edler

Ludwig Richard Edler (born June 7, 1829 in Beuthen , † August 7, 1898 in Groß-Dubensko , Rybnik district ) was a Catholic clergyman and a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and later of the German Reichstag .

Life

Edler attended high school in Gliwice and studied theology at the University of Breslau and made long trips. In 1851 he became a member of the Corps Silesia Breslau . In several places in Silesia he was chaplain and parish administrator, in 1858 he became pastor of Bujakow and Groß-Paniow , and from 1861 to 1875 he was district school inspector . He participated in the charitable patriotic endeavors of the home districts, was an honorary member of the national thanks and a member of the agricultural association in Bytom.

From 1879 to 1885 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the constituency of the administrative district of Oppeln 3 ( Groß-Strehlitz and Lublinitz ). Between 1874 and 1878 and from 1881 to 1884 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Opole 6 ( Zabrze - Kattowitz ) and the center .
