Ludwig Sebastian Meyer-Stork (born October 27, 1961 in Bielefeld ) is a German manager and entrepreneur .

Life

Meyer-Stork studied chemistry at the Rheinisch-Westfälisch Technische Hochschule Aachen from 1981 to 1988, after completing high school and basic military service , where he received his doctorate in 1990 with a polymer science thesis. After a postdoc at BASF Corp. in Charlotte (USA), he from 1991 to 1993 as head of development at the Bayer Group belonging Wolff Walsrode AG operates. Meyer-Stork then moved as the great-great-grandson of the namesake to the medium-sized textile finisher Windel in Bielefeld. Initially he headed the central quality assurance and was managing director from 1994. In 2008 he started his own business as a management consultant. From 2009 to 2014 Meyer-Stork was the managing director of Sächsische Dampfschiffahrts GmbH & Co. Conti Elbschiffahrt KG , Dresden, and during this time made important strategic decisions such as the introduction of online sales and catering insourcing. In 2015, he and a business partner founded B&MS Verwaltungs-GmbH, which acquired the shares in steelconcept GmbH in Chemnitz at the beginning of 2016. Meyer-Stork is responsible for the commercial management of the medium-sized steel construction company.

Meyer-Stork has been married since 1997 and has four children.
