Ludwig Stutz
Ludwig Stutz (born November 8, 1865 in Hoheneck , † March 6, 1917 in Illenau ) was a German genre and still life painter and caricaturist .
Born the son of a factory director, Stutz studied from October 18, 1886 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich .
Then he settled in Berlin at Tauenzienstrasse 8. Since then, his professional career has been twofold: on the one hand, he became known as a painter of impressionist still lifes and traditional genre pictures, on the other hand, he worked in the Kladderadatsch editorial team in the 1900s , where he and Gustav Brandt provided templates for satirical caricatures. Stutz took part in the exhibitions of the Berlin Secession .
