Ludwig von Schele (baptized name: Ludwig August Werner Ernst Albrecht) (born May 30, 1778 in Osnabrück , † October 20, 1824 in Vechta ) was a German district administrator .

Ludwig von Schele came from the Westphalian noble family Schele and was born as the son of the married couple Ludwig Clamor von Schele ( Chamberlain and Hanoverian Landdrost ) and Klara Katherina Dorothea Philippine von Münster. On October 30, 1801 in Itzehoe he married Charlotte Friederike Amalie von Bothmer, daughter of the married couple Johann Kaspar Hartwig Friedrich von Bothmer and Margaretha Eleonore von Schweinitz and Krain . The marriage produced a daughter and a son.
Professional background
He first went through a military career in the Prussian army , was first a cadet and then an officer. In Eutin he was Oldenburg castle captain and in 1815 he was Hanover Droste in Reckenberg . A year later he was the municipal district administrator for the Wiedenbrück district . After one year in office, he joined in 1817 as a Government to Government Minden .
