Ludwig von Senger
Ludwig von Senger (* 1873 in Waldsassen ; † 1937 in Munich ) was a German landscape painter, mainly active in Bavaria.
After graduating from high school, Ludwig von Senger studied painting from January 16, 1894 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich in the nature class with Johann Caspar Herterich , later with Wilhelm von Diez . He went on study trips to Italy and Switzerland.
His works were created under the influence of impressionism . Ludwig von Senger was a member of the German Association of Artists in Weimar and of the Reich Association of German Artists .
Ludwig von Senger lived in Fürstenfeldbruck from around 1904 to 1920 , often visiting Kallmünz , where he created many landscape paintings. From 1920 he lived in Munich. Many of his works appeared in the form of postcards.
