Aviation Authority

An aviation authority is in many countries a government authority that deals with the organization of the local aviation busy. Aviation authorities, for example, assign licenses for airlines and aircraft registration numbers , approve airfields, monitor the airspace , train aviation personnel such as pilots and air traffic controllers , and draw up safety and economic regulations .
