Luigi Bassi
Luigi Bassi (born September 4 or September 5, 1766 in Pesaro ; † September 13, 1825 in Dresden ) was an Italian opera singer with a baritone voice .
Life
Bassi was already playing female roles on private stages when he was 13. He made his debut in Florence in 1783. After his training in Italy - if the traditional date of birth is correct - he appeared in the first performance of Mozart's Don Giovanni in the title role at the age of 21 , he then worked as a respected singer actor in numerous other roles in contemporary operas and plays, most recently as a director .
Especially at a young age, his special talent and charisma predestined him for the role of Don Juan, and it is likely that Mozart was also inspired by him.
