Angie Sage

Angie Sage (* 1952 in London ) is a British illustrator and author. She was best known for the Septimus Heap and the Araminta Spuk series.

Life

Angie Sage grew up in Thames Valley, London and Kent . Her father was a publisher and Sage brought blind volumes with her during her childhood , which she filled with pictures and stories. Sage studied graphics and design at the Polytechnic Art School in Leicester . After graduating, she worked as an illustrator and later as a freelance writer. In 1989, Sage's first book Monkeys in the Jungle was published .

Angie Sage has two daughters and lives in Cornwall .
