Luigi Carlo Borromeo (born October 26, 1893 in Graffignana , Province of Lodi , Italy ; † July 4, 1975 there ) was Roman Catholic Bishop of Pesaro from 1952 to 1975 .

Life

Luigi Carlo Borromeo received in the March 30, 1918 Lodi the sacrament of Holy Orders .

Pope Pius XII appointed him titular bishop of Choma in 1951 and appointed him auxiliary bishop in the diocese of Lodi . The episcopal ordination donated to him on December 2, 1951 Pietro Calchi Novati , Bishop of Lodi, and the co-consecrators Bishop Amerigo Galbiati and Archbishop Carlo Livraghi . On December 28, 1952, Pope Pius XII. the appointment as bishop of the diocese of Pesaro.

He was a councilor during the Second Vatican Council , and in Pesaro in 1971 he consecrated the new parish church dedicated to St. Charles Borromeo .
