Luigi Valdettaro della Rocchetta

Luigi Valdettaro Della Rocchetta (born February 26, 1912 in Rome , † 1981 in Milan ) was an Italian diplomat .

He was the son of Constanza Vianson Ponte and Alessandro Valdettarao (* 1883; † 1929).

Career

From 1964 to 1965 he held the post of diplomatic advisor to the President. He advised Antonio Segni on January 11, 1964, during a visit by Paul VI. in the Quirinal Palace . He accompanied Giuseppe Saragat on his state visits from September 10 to 21, 1965 to Humberto Castelo Branco ( Brazil ), Uruguay, Argentina, Eduardo Frei Montalva ( Chile ), Raúl Leoni ( Venezuela ) and Peru .

From October 28, 1970 to January 23, 1973 he was ambassador to Stockholm .

From January 23, 1973 to 1977 he was ambassador to Athens .
