Luisito Pié (born March 4, 1994 in Bayaguana ) is a Dominican Taekwondoin .

Career

Luisito Pié won the gold medal in the class up to 58 kilograms at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz in 2014 and was also the Pan American champion in Aguascalientes . The following year he secured the silver medal at the Pan American Games in Toronto . In 2016, Pié qualified for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in the same year. In these he was eliminated after two opening wins in the semifinals against Tawin Hanprab , but was able to secure the bronze medal in the subsequent round of hope against Jesús Tortosa . In 2018, Pié won silver at the Pan American Championships in Spokane .
