Luitpold "Poldl" Schuhwerk (born November 11, 1922 in Türkheim , † January 18, 2005 in Mindelheim ) was a Swabian local poet and master painter .
Life
Schuhwerk wrote poems in Swabian dialect and was temporarily head of the local history museum in Türkheim in the Duke's Palace. This museum was founded by Hans Ruf.
He has been an honorary citizen of his birthplace in Türkheim since December 9, 1999 . The appointment took place during the ceremony of 300 years of market survey on January 29, 2000.
