Lukas Mill (Huertgen Forest)
The Lukas mill is located on the Tiefenbach near the confluence with the Kallbach between Brandenberg and Vossenack in the municipality of Hürtgenwald in the Düren district , North Rhine-Westphalia .
history
The bailiff Luke Kirstgen built the Luke mill in 1569 to guard against the Lehnsinhaber and tenants of Zerkaller mill enforce. The last people living there, the Wilhelm Boltersdorf family, were driven to Brandenberg by the Americans . In 1951 the mill was leveled.
