Lukas Markus Lamla (born April 24, 1983 in Piekary Śląskie , Poland ) is a German politician of the Pirate Party .

biography

Lukas Lamla grew up in Piekary Śląskie , Upper Silesia / Poland and Neuss as the son of a miner and a teacher. He is a trained professional firefighter and has also completed vocational training as an emergency paramedic. He has been a member of the Chaos Computer Club since his youth . He is still a founding member of Hackerspace fnordeingang e. V. Neuss and Freifunk Rheinland e. V.

Party and politics

In January 2009, Lukas Lamla joined the Pirate Party . In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2012 on May 13, 2012, Lamla was elected to second place in the state list of the Pirate Party of North Rhine-Westphalia in the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . In his function as election campaign coordinator, he was also primarily responsible for the election campaign of the Pirate Party of North Rhine-Westphalia.

His main focus was on digitization in the field of craft and medium-sized businesses. For this he received the honorary award of the craft of North Rhine-Westphalia with the Florians Medal. In the area of drug policy , he advocates liberalization, especially of cannabis. At the end of the legislative period, Lamla left the state parliament in 2017.

Further commitment

He is a member of the board of trustees of the Sportstiftung NRW . In February 2018 Lukas Lamla was elected to the board of the traditional Neuss club VfR Neuss and holds the office of managing director.
