Lukas Rehder

Lukas Rehder (* 1996 ) is a German American football player.

career

Rehder, grandson of national basketball player Gerd Rehder and son of basketball player Dirk Rehder , played basketball for seven years at SC Rist Wedel as a teenager . He attended Johann-Rist-Gymnasium , where he passed his Abitur in 2016 . In 2014 he switched to American football and joined the youth team of the Hamburg Blue Devils . In 2015 he became Vice European Champion with the German U19 national team in Dresden . In 2016, the 1.91 meter tall and used in the position of the wide receiver , Rehder moved to the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes in the GFL, the top German league. After the 2019 season, Rehder, who completed a degree in media and communication, was named Offensive Player of the Year by the Kiel team.

For the 2020 season, Rehder, who is known to be agile and safe to catch, switched to GFL promoted Elmshorn Fighting Pirates .
