The Lukin River is a river in the north of the Australian state of Queensland , in the Far North Queensland region on the Cape York Peninsula .

River course

The river has its source on the northern slopes of Mount Ryan , about 235 km northwest of Cooktown . The Lukin River flows south-southwest and joins the Coleman River at Strathaven .
