Luther Church (Weißenfels)
The Luther Church is a listed Protestant church in the town of Weißenfels in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the building is listed as a monument under registration number 094 09285 .
The Luther church was 1926-1928 in the style of expressionism to a design by architect en Raimund Ostermaier in Halle (Saale) built. The inauguration took place in 1929. The tower with a lantern and a slender conical helmet stands next to the nave . According to the monument register, the colored glazing of the windows comes from Stuttgart . The church has a bell from the 13th century, which is believed to have come from the Sankt Claren monastery .
