Ludwig Eugen "Lutz" Frisch (born January 18, 1944 in Mainz ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

Frisch grew up in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse . In 1963 he graduated from the Altsprachliches Gymnasium (since 1964 Kurfürst-Ruprecht-Gymnasium ) with the Abitur. In Heidelberg and Mainz he studied Latin and sport for teaching at grammar schools . He passed the second state examination in 1969 and subsequently taught as a teacher. In 1982 he became headmaster of the Leibniz Gymnasium in Neustadt. Frisch is married and has three children.

In 1968, Frisch joined the CDU. In 1974 he was elected to the city ​​council of Neustadt an der Weinstrasse for the first time, in 1979 he became chairman of the CDU parliamentary group. He became a member of the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate on March 1, 1995. In the state elections in March 2001, he won the direct mandate in constituency 42 (Neustadt an der Weinstrasse) and moved back into the state parliament. There he worked as a member of the Committee for Education and Youth and as Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Science, Further Education, Research and Culture. He left for February 2005 from the office when Nachrückerin in the state legislature followed him Brigitte Hayn .
