Lydia Bendel-Maidl
Lydia Bendel-Maidl (born February 26, 1963 in Aicha an der Donau ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .
Life
After graduating from high school in 1982 at the Benedictine School of Music in Niederaltaich , she passed the first state examination in philosophy , Catholic religious studies and Latin in 1989 . After completing her doctorate in theology in 1993 and the second state examination in 1995 in Catholic religious studies and Latin, she acquired the qualification to teach fundamental theology at the LMU Munich in 2000 . In 2009 she was appointed senior teacher . In 2011 she became an adjunct professor for fundamental theology at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich.
Her research interests are trauma education / trauma counseling with a focus on spiritual / religious resources, spiritual care , with a special focus on the importance of art, transcultural and transreligious competencies and the anthropology of spirituality.
