Lydia Hohenberger

Lydia Hohenberger (born January 17, 1959 in Selb , Upper Franconia , † December 7, 2011 in Portugal) was a German politician ( AL ).

Life

Hohenberger, who studied political science , became a member of the AL in 1985 and was a member of the council of delegates. From 1989 to 1991 she was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives in the 11th electoral term , when the AL and the SPD formed the Senate Momper . In 1994 she moved to Portugal with her partner Jürgen Strohmaier , where they set up a company for soft tourism . Both also wrote several travel guides about the country.

Hohenberger died in Portugal after a serious illness.
