Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis			Approved by the district president in Cologne on September 8, 1976: “The district has the following coat of arms : The coat of arms shows the Rhine in its shield head as a silver band and indicates the geographical location of the district in the western part of the Bergisches Land on the edge of the Cologne Bay to the Rhine Valley and at the same time reminds of the coat of arms of the former Rhine province. The lower main part of the shield is split and shows on a silver background on the left (heraldically seen) the blue-armored red Bergisch lion with a blue crown and tongue and on the right two double-pinned black bars. "[...] " The circle carries the following flag: in a horizontal position Division of the colors "red - white", in the middle the coat of arms . ” (Coat of arms approved on September 8, 1976)

Bergisch Gladbach			The coat of arms shows a growing red armored golden lion in a green shield above a silver alternating crenellated bar, and a golden stag's head peeking under the alternating crenellated bar. The horizontal division of the flag is green-white-green. The two outer green stripes each take up one sixth, the middle white stripe four sixths the width of the flag.
Burscheid			The flag of the city of Burscheid shows the colors green and white and the [following] the city coat of arms in the middle of the flag. The city of Burscheid is gem. Decree of the Prussian Minister of the Interior dated August 21, 1920 entitled to use a city coat of arms. The city coat of arms consists of a silver-gray escutcheon on which there are 3 green linden leaves with a stem and a three-tower wall crown attached to the escutcheon.
Kürten			The municipality was granted the right to use a coat of arms in a certificate from the District President dated March 15, 1982. Description of the coat of arms: In a split shield above in silver a two-tailed, blue armored and crowned red lion, below in red a silver heron with a silver fish in its beak. The main statute gives no information about a flag.
Leichlingen (Rhineland)			With the decree of the Minister of the Interior in Berlin of January 9, 1914 IV a 2893, the city was granted the right to use a coat of arms. It is carried out in the form approved by the Council of the City of Leichlingen (Rhineland) on October 6, 1940. In the upper field of the shield, which is divided into wavy silver and blue, there is the blue-crowned, blue-armored and double-tailed red Bergische lion, in the lower field a silver fish with red fins. The city of Leichlingen (Rhineland) has a city flag with the colors blue-white-blue and the city coat of arms in the middle of the flag. The middle white field of the flag is twice as wide as a blue field on the side.
Odenthal			The municipality was granted the right to use a coat of arms in a document from the Prussian State Ministry of January 30, 1935. Description of the coat of arms: The coat of arms shows the coat of arms of the former sovereign, the red Bergisch lion in silver in the upper field. White deer antlers are shown in the field with a green background. The main statute gives no information about a flag.
Overath			The coat of arms of the city of Overath shows, divided by silver and blue, above on a silver background a two-tailed red lion, armed in blue and crowned in blue, below a golden bell on a blue background. The flag has the colors yellow-blue striped lengthways with the city arms above the middle.
Rösrath			The city of Rösrath has a city coat of arms, an official seal and a city flag. The city's coat of arms shows a baroque shield divided horizontally, in the upper white field the watchful double-tailed red lion, armored in blue and crowned with blue, in the lower green field a white hunting horn with a golden mouthpiece, lintel and shoulder strap. [...] The colors of the city flag correspond to the basic colors of the coat of arms.
Wermelskirchen			The coat of arms shows a silver shield split by an ascending red tip, a green oak tree in the left white field, a black swan in the right white field and a white church on the green ground in the red central field.
