Oberbergischer Kreis			The circle has the following coat of arms : “The coat of arms of the circle shows under the golden (yellow) shield head a bar divided into three rows in red and silver (white) split from red to silver (white). In front a silver (white) castle with a high three-lined left and a lower two-lined right pinnacle tower, flanking a pointed-gable house with an open red gate and black gable window. Behind a two-tailed, blue-crowned, blue-tongued and blue-armored red lion. City of Bergneustadt			The city has a coat of arms, an official seal and a flag. The coat of arms shows a two-row chess bar in silver and red on a gold background on a cross-sectioned shield in the upper field, and a double-tinned silver cross-bar in the lower red field. The coat of arms is adorned by a three-tower wall crown with a gate. [...] The flag approved on April 20, 1953 by the interior minister of the state of NW […] shows the colors yellow and red.
Municipality Engelskirchen			The municipality was granted the right to use a coat of arms in a certificate issued by the district president in Cologne on March 24, 1976. Description of the coat of arms: Divided; above in silver (white) a growing, blue-armored, tongued and crowned, two-tailed red lion; at the bottom of silver (white) and red in 3 rows with 6 spaces. The municipality has also been granted the right to fly a flag (as a hoist flag and banner) in a certificate issued by the District President in Cologne on March 24, 1976. Description of the flag: as a banner: red-white-red in a ratio of 1: 4: 1 striped lengthways with the municipality's coat of arms shifted upwards over the middle . as a hoisted flag: in the horizontally divided, square flag cloth above in white a growing blue-armored, tongued and crowned, two-tailed red lion; at the bottom of white and red in 3 rows with 6 spaces.
District town of Gummersbach			The city of Gummersbach was granted the right to use a city coat of arms by royal decree of July 27, 1892. The coat of arms shows under a three-pinned wall crown with a closed gate a triangular shield standing on top, which is divided into two fields by a vertical line. In the heraldic left field there are three red and white nested bars on a gold background, in the right field a silver-gray spindle with a piece of unwound thread on a blue background. The city colors of the flag are blue and gold. The city arms can be included in it.
City of Hückeswagen			The city flag is white and has the city coat of arms in the middle of the field. The city coat of arms, approved according to the certificate of August 22, 1892, shows in the horizontally placed, divided triangular shield above the Limburg-Bergisch lion, which is cut in half and jumping to the left, in red on a silver background; below in the black field the silver shuttle with the silver thread hanging out. The shield is crowned by a red wall with the gate entrance and three wall towers.
municipality Lindlar			The municipality has a coat of arms, an official seal and a flag. The municipality's coat of arms shows the red, blue-armed, growing Bergisch lion in a baroque shield in the upper silver (white) field, and in the lower black field a golden (yellow) scale as a symbol of justice. [...] The flag of the municipality shows the colors red and white with the municipality's coat of arms .
Municipality Marienheide	according to the main statute no hoisting flag		With a document from the Prussian Minister of the Interior dated October 26, 1934, the municipality was granted the right to carry a coat of arms and with a document from the Minister of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia dated August 7, 1958, the right to fly a flag. Description of the coat of arms: In the upper half there are two crossed, silver lifting hoes with golden stems on a red background, above a five-leaf, silver rose with green sepals and yellow inflorescence. The lower half is adorned on a silver background with a modified Bergisch lion, blue armored, double-tailed, red, with a raised right paw, in contrast to the coat of arms of Berg, striding without a crown. Description of the flag: Above in the red field two crossed hoes with yellow stalks, above a white rose; below a striding blue-armored, double-tailed, red lion in a white field (symbols of the coat of arms ). The lower half consists of three strips of equal length and width, red-white-red; the white central panel is not set off against the white field of the upper half of the flag.
municipality Morsbach		according to the main statute no banner	The municipality was granted the right to use a coat of arms with a certificate from the Upper President of the Rhine Province in Koblenz dated August 14, 1937. In the upper field of the divided shield on a silver background, the coat of arms shows a striding red-brown mountain lion with a blue crown, blue claws and blue tongue, in the lower field on a medium blue background a silver stream with black lines in the bends and three black bog pistons with each two green leaves and green stem. The municipality was granted the right to fly a flag through the approval of the upper district director as the lower state administrative authority on June 28, 1995. The flag is two-tone in the colors red, white and red. The color fields are striped lengthways from red to white to red in a ratio of 1: 2: 1; on it in the middle is the coat of arms of the community Morsbach […].
municipality Nümbrecht			The municipality was granted the right to use a coat of arms in a certificate issued by the district president in Cologne on December 18, 1969. The design and symbol of the coat of arms correspond to the sample attached as Appendix 3. Description of the flag [not part of the official notice]: The hoist flag is black, yellow and black with horizontal stripes in the proportion of 1: 1: 1. On the mast there is a red field of 1/3 the length of the flag, the height of the flag, with the municipal coat of arms without a shield.
City of Radevormwald			The city's coat of arms represents the red, blue crowned and armored Bergisch lion, who holds a golden key in the right front paw. Description of the flag [not part of the official notice]: The city's flag and banner are red and white with the city arms in the middle of the cloth.
municipality Reichshof	according to the main statute no hoisting flag		By order of approval from the District President in Cologne on September 11, 1972, the Reichshof community has a seal, a coat of arms and a flag. [...] The coat of arms is divided. Above is a growing red-billed golden (yellow) eagle in black; below in silver (white) a striding, silver (white) armored red lion. The flag contains four white vertical stripes in red in a ratio of 1: 1, above the municipal coat of arms without a shield in the flag head.
City of Waldbröl			The city of Waldbröl was granted the right to use a coat of arms in a certificate from the Minister of the Interior dated July 19, 1952. The coat of arms shows a black oak tree with green leaves and fruits in a golden field on green ground through which a silver stream flows. To the right of the tree is a silver label with an overturned blue ploughshare, to the left a silver label with a red, double-tailed, blue, proven and crowned lion. The city of Waldbröl was granted the right to fly a flag in a document from the Minister of the Interior dated September 27, 1958. Under a white banner head covered with the coat of arms of the city, the flag has one of two green side panels in a ratio of 1.8: 2.4: 1.8, a white longitudinal panel that is not set off from the banner head.
City of Wiehl			The city's coat of arms […] shows a silver (white) gate castle in red with a high, three-pronged pinnacle tower on the left and a low, two-pronged pinnacle tower with a blue dome on the right. The gabled gatehouse has a window above a red gate opening filled with golden (yellow) portcullis. A silver (white) Maltese cross hovers over the low tower. City of Wipperfürth			After the municipal reorganization of January 1, 1975 (Cologne Law of November 5, 1974), the city of Wipperfürth was granted the right to use the previous coat of arms, seal and flag by a certificate from the District President of Cologne of December 9, 1975.
