List of flags in Schleswig-Holstein
This list shows the flags in Schleswig-Holstein with its counties and cities. Further flags can be reached via the navigation bar at the end of the page.
Although the flag of Schleswig-Holstein has been shown as a national symbol since the first half of the 19th century , it was not officially introduced until the law on the emblems of the state of Schleswig-Holstein on January 18, 1957. The law describes the country's flag as follows:
- “The national colors are blue-white-red.
- The national flag shows the national colors from top to bottom in three horizontal stripes of equal width. The height of the national flag is related to its length as 3: 5.
- The service flag is the national flag; it shows the state coat of arms in the middle . "
