The district of Soest in North Rhine-Westphalia

The flag of the Soest district was approved by the district president in Arnsberg . The main statute of the district describes the flag as follows: "The coat of arms of the district of Soest shows on a white field in a split shield in front the vertical red Soest key and behind the continuous black cross of Kurköln, adorned by the red, five-petalled Lipperose with golden lugs and golden sepals." (Approved on May 26th 1976) [...] "The circle carries the following flag: In the middle of a white, with two red side stripes in a ratio of 1: 3: 1 accompanying the circle's coat of arms."

Ense			The municipality was granted the right to use a coat of arms, a flag, a banner and a seal with a certificate from the District President Arnsberg dated January 22, 1971. Description of the coat of arms : Divided from silver (white) to red in pewter cut; black horse rams hanging above, held together by a red cord, below two golden (yellow) bars. Description of the flag: The flag (Hißflagge) is striped lengthways in two strips of equal width from red to white and shows the municipal coat of arms in the center. Description of the banner: The banner is also striped lengthways in two strips of the same width from red to white and shows the municipal coat of arms in the shield in the middle of the upper half.
Erwitte			The city of Erwitte was granted the right to use a coat of arms with a certificate from the District President in Arnsberg dated December 21, 1977. Description of the coat of arms : split by yellow and red; in front a red, yellow-crowned lion, behind an obliquely left, crossed yellow double hook. The city of Erwitte was also granted the right to carry a flag and a banner with a certificate from the District President in Arnsberg dated December 21, 1977. Description of the flag: From yellow to red in a ratio of 1: 1, longitudinally striped, in the center the coat of arms of the city. Description of the banner: From yellow to red in a ratio of 1: 1 longitudinally striped, in the middle of the upper half of the city's coat of arms.
Geseke			The city has the following coat of arms : in blue a continuous cross, occupied by a red five-spoke wheel at the intersection. Warstein	according to the main statute no hoisting flag		The city of Warstein was granted the right to use a coat of arms in a certificate from the District President Arnsberg dated April 10, 1991. Description of the coat of arms : split of silver (white) and red, in front a continuous black cross, in the back nine silver (white) balls, 5: 4 arranged by stake. The city of Warstein was also granted the right to use a banner with a certificate from the District President Arnsberg dated April 10, 1991. Description of the banner: From white to black to white in a ratio of 1: 3: 1, the city's coat of arms is in the upper half of the middle strip.
Welver		according to the main statute no banner	The municipality of Welver was granted the right to use a coat of arms with a certificate from the District President Arnsberg dated March 31, 1970. The coat of arms is described as follows: In a split shield on the right an upright golden (yellow) male in red, on the left two crossed swords in gold (yellow), with a black eagle between their handles.
Werl			The coat of arms of the city of Werl shows a black continuous cross in silver, topped with an upright silver key with the beard turned to the right. The flag shows the inscription "Stadt Werl" on the left in the vertically divided third above - black on a white background - below the city coat of arms, 2/3 of the flag is divided horizontally, black on top and white below.
Wickede (Ruhr)			The municipality of Wickede (Ruhr) was granted the right to use a coat of arms in a certificate from District President Arnsberg dated April 3, 1970. In the shield, which is divided from silver (white) over blue in a wavy cut, the coat of arms contains a continuous black cross at the top and a silver (white) cog wheel growing out of the base of the shield at the bottom. The municipality of Wickede (Ruhr) was also granted the right to fly a flag in a certificate from District President Arnsberg dated April 3, 1970. The municipality's flag is blue-white-blue striped lengthways and bears the municipality's coat of arms in the upper half of the white field.
