The circle has the following coat of arms : "In a split shield in front in a silver (white) field a continuous black cross, behind in the golden (yellow) field two red bars." (Awarded on October 12, 1949) [...] “The circle carries a flag with the colors red and white; it shows the coat of arms of the district of Olpe. " This imprecise description comes from the main statutes of the district of Olpe. In fact, the flag is carried as follows: "The hoisted flag is in a ratio of 1: 3: 1 in the colors red: white: red stripes and shows the circular coat of arms in the shield in the middle of the white strip slightly shifted towards the pole." Description of the banner: "The banner is in three strips in a ratio of 1: 3: 1 in the colors red: white: red striped lengthways and shows the circular coat of arms in the shield in the middle of the upper half of the white strip." |
