As a flag, the city of Dinslaken uses the colors red and white in the longitudinal direction with the coat of arms described in paragraph 1. |

The city of Hamminkeln has a coat of arms, a seal and a flag (banner). The coat of arms and seal were approved with a certificate from the District President in Düsseldorf dated November 11, 1977, the banner with a certificate dated August 6, 1978.
The city's coat of arms is described as follows, in green - above a silver wave bar - a silver round shield, covered with an eight-pointed black lily reel, on the edge of the shield seven small round shields in alternating colors.
