Lygia Bojunga Nunes
Lygia Bojunga Nunes (born August 26, 1932 in Pelotas ) is a Brazilian author of children and young people.
Life
At the age of 8 she moved to Rio de Janeiro , at 19 she became a member of a touring theater group. The confrontation with illiteracy in rural areas led her to found a school which she supervised for five years. After several years of editorial work on radio and television, she made her debut in 1972 with her first children's book.
