The Lynx peak is a distinctive, 1,063 meters high and three-sided mountain on the Danco Coast of Graham lands north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises east of Charles Point on the southern flank of the Sikorski Glacier .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2013. It is named after the Westland Lynx helicopter , which was used by HMS Endurance and its successor in airborne operations for the British Antarctic Survey from 1987 to 2008 .
