The Lyrkio ( Greek Λύρκειο ) is a mountain in the Peloponnese . It is located on the border of the Argolida and Arcadia districts . To the north it connects to the mountain Trachy (Gr. Τραχύ), in the west it passes into the highlands of Mandinia . In the east is Mount Artemisio (gr. Αρτεμίσιο). The Lyrkio is part of the extensive mountain range that stretches from the Gulf of Corinth to the Argolic Gulf through the Peloponnese. It connects the mountains Kyllini , Oligyrtos , Artemisio and Trachy. The highest peak is the Goupata (gr. Γούπατα) with 1755  m . The easternmost part of the mountain is also called Armenia (Gr. Αρμενιά). Villages on the flanks of the mountain are Kefalovryso (gr. Κεφαλόβρυσο) and Frousiouna (gr. Φρουσιούνα).

Because of the population of the rare masked warbler , the Lyrkio, together with areas in neighboring Artemisio, forms one of the 196 Important Areas for Birds in Greece (Greek σημαντικές περιοχές για πουλιά της Ελλάδας (ΣΠΠΕ)).
