Lythrangomi (Greek Λυθράγκωμη , also Lythrankomi , Lithrangomi or Lythragkomi ), Turkish Boltaşlı , is a village on the Karpas peninsula in northeastern Cyprus . It actually belongs to the İskele District of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus , but formally to the Famagusta District of the Republic of Cyprus .

The place is known for the Panagia Kanakaria church , which dates back to the early 6th century and whose mosaics fell victim to an art theft. The mosaics sold abroad are now in the church museum again.

In 1946 the village had 369 inhabitants, in 1960 only 275, of which 170 were Cypriot Greeks and 105 Cypriot Turks . As a result of the division of the island, the Greek Cypriots were expelled from the place, at the same time Turks from Anatolia settled.

Lythrangomi / Boltaşlı is located on the southern and narrower of the two roads to Rizokarpaso / Dipkarpaz . Neighboring villages are in the west Vasili (Gelincik) and Leonarisso / Ziyamet , in the east Vothylakas / Derince and Avtepe / Ayios Symeon .
